Marketing Communications Manager
San Francisco Peninsula
Our client, a highly successful and well-funded networking start-up on the Peninsula, is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager with 3-5+ years of high tech marketing experience who is eager to learn more and not afraid of hard work!
This position is responsible for all outbound marketing including corporate identity, brand awareness and demand generation. This is a fast-pace start-up environment and requires everyone to roll up their sleeves and dig in!
Responsibilities include developing and executing the marketing communications plan in all areas: public relations, analyst relations, website, SEO, SEM, collateral, success stories, social networking activities, trade shows, workshops, events, securing speaking engagements, sales tools, and more.
Requires:
3-5 years of high tech marketing experience.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent required.
Must have hands-on experience with SEO and SEM tactics. Google Analytics and Google Adwords experience is a plus. Must be very comfortable with social networking including company blogs, twitter, and community boards.
Must have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills with the ability to write both technical and creative content.
Understanding of Virtualization and/or Cloud Computing desirable, not required.
Networking, network security and/or enterprise software experience desired, not required.
Some travel required.
Compensation is $80k - $90k with a strong benefit package.
