Our client is an international software company offering end to end business solutions for the Alternative Investments, Private Equity, Banking and Insurance market places. Their software solutions serve over 200 customers across the world with more than 120 references for its flagship product serving Private Equity, Real Estate funds and Funds of Funds.
We are looking for a highly motivated senior consultant to join our professional services team in North America. You will have a strong knowledge of the alternative assets industry (private equity, real estate etc) as well as first class interpersonal and client consulting skills. For the very brightest candidates there is ample opportunity to grow along with the company and take on even greater responsibility. Main Function
This role provides high level business consultancy on our products with specific focus on accountancy as the product comes with a fully integrated general ledger which is core to most client implementations. We are looking for a senior consultant who has the background, experience and credibility to deal with fund accountants amongst other staff in a project setting.
Main Duties
This role will have the following major duties and responsibilities:
* Act as a senior project member on multiple project implementations across North America.
* Create a center of excellence for accountancy within the NA Professional Services group and beyond.
* Establish and build strong relationships with counterparts notably in UK, Jersey and France.
* Responsible for solution design and configuration on large scale project implementations.
* Act as a mentor for more junior consultancy staff particularly on accountancy related matters.
Must have:
* Degree educated/professional accountancy qualification.
* Demonstrated track record in business systems solution delivery.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
* Ability to work amongst, lead and inspire multi-disciplined delivery teams.
* A ‘can do’ attitude â€" willingness to accept challenges and work to deadlines.
* Ability to motivate and influence other team members.
* Gravitas to deal with clients at the most senior level.
Optionally:
* Competitive product experience.
* Database exposure e.g. Microsoft SQL Server
* Industry experience at a PE firm, fund administrator or similar.
