Senior HP Exstream Developer

Required skills
* Senior level HP Exstream (Dialogue) design and development skills, preferably with versions 6, 7
* Must have 5+ years progressive experience with development in HP Exstream software
* Must have recent experience with design and development with HP Exstream EWS (web services) and the batch production engine
* Must have in-depth working knowledge of XML, XSD and experience with XML, HTML markup files within HP Exstream
* Must have good working knowledge of client-server architecture, web applications, web services, real time applications
* Demonstrated ability to translate functional business requirements into technical solutions in the electronic document composition and delivery domain
* Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to complex problems, and work on multiple (related) projects concurrently
* Ability and willingness to design and develop with focus on the firm's strategic technical direction of various systems and applications
* Ability and willingness to work in an environment with some degree of ambiguity
* Ability and willingness to contribute technically to design discussions, and research solutions to complex problems
* Experience with estimating development effort and task sequencing
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
* Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively work with people in the team, other IT departments and/or outside of the enterprise
Preferred skills
* Working knowledge or experience with Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, JCL, SQL, or Java is a plus
* Basic or working knowledge of Desknet or CSF is a plus
* Ability and willingness to learn new technologies preferred
