Title: Oracle Developer with Informatica Experience

Location: Tempe AZ

Duration: 12-18 Months

Job Description:

· Database Developer for large data warehouse with in Client. This person will work within a team of analytics consultants, systems analysts, database developers and system administrators providing Production Support, Application Integration, Integration Engineering, and Code Management for an Oracle/PLSQL based Data Warehouse.

Job Roles:

· Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's databases.

· Consults with and provides guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions.

· Performs moderately complex server-class database activities across various platforms and environments including one or more of the following: business requirement identification and analysis; conceptual, logical, and/or physical database design; data modeling and/or mapping; moderate to complex programming and coding to automate and/or support the database environment; performance monitoring and tuning; analyzing database metrics and assisting with capacity planning; planning, testing, configuration and execution of installations, upgrades and migrations; and implementing security controls.

· May participate in the development of data/ database architectures and management policies, procedures and standards

· Provides 24/7 technical support for production incidents.

· Leads the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.

· Completes required logs and reports.

· Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides.

· Understands BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements for supported areas and analyzes changes for risk to the environment.

· Participates in testing and environment validation efforts.

· Participates in overall systems testing for interfacing systems of record.

· Leads the migration of data warehouse changes to production.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 5 years of Oracle Database Development with PL/SQL

· 3 Years Development with Informatica Power Center

· Familiarity and experience operating in an Enterprise environment using formal procedures and policies required for escalation and outage resolution.

· Strong documentation skills.

· Strong knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)

· Well organized and proficient with details,

· Excellent interpersonal and team skills

· Self directed and motivated.

· Able to navigate through a rapidly changing business and technical environment.

Development Tools/Utilities - TOAD, Embarcadero, Test Tools / Debugging / File Processors - TOAD Debug, various mainframe tools
