The Role: Chief Financial Officer
The Location: Sarasota, FL
Our Home Health Agency is Medicare and Joint Commission accredited, and committed to providing the highest level of professional quality care in the home. We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will represent our company both publicly and internally, and who can manage both financial reporting as well as staff.
The Chief Financial Officer will successfully manage the cash flows, expenses, and financials. They should be able to make operational recommendations to the rest of the management team and know the financial impact. This person should also be comfortable stepping in to perform as the CEO on an interim basis, as needed.
Your Required Skills & Qualifications:
œ You have a Bachelorfs Degree; MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred
œ CPA preferred (not required)
œ You have at least 10+ years experience with 5+ years of Financial Management Leadership experience
œ You have strong financial reporting skills (including budget creation and analytics)
œ You are comfortable with company metrics, managing cash, and working with lenders
œ You are able to manage financials for multiple corporate entities and understand consolidations
œ Familiarity and understanding with Medicare billing is a plus
œ You need to be able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and serve as a ghands onh leader
œ You should present yourself well both verbally and in written form. You need to be able to make a presentation to the board, buyers, and lenders and be respected as an authority
œ You need the ability to think strategically but have the ability to move back and forth between tactical and strategic
