| In this position, the individual will be responsible for validating enterprise SSDs. Using their QA expertise, programming skills and knowledge of black / white / grey / glass box testing, this individual will design, implement and execute both automated and manual tests. The individual will work with members of the Quality Assurance, Development, Customer Support, and Program Management teams to assure quality with on time delivery. The individual must be execution focused, have excellent leadership & communication skills and have a passion for Quality.
The individual will be defining, developing, executing, and automating test cases for design verification of enterprise SSDs. Manage & deploy in-house and 3rd party test tools. Design, develop and execute scripts that assist development with the debug & Analysis of failures. Log bugs, follow up with developers for fixes, and troubleshoot issues using in-house/3rd party tools. Maintain lab systems (Windows/Linux) and tools. Drive systems and functional testing for SanDisk SSDs. Work and lead in a high performance team of motivated SQA engineers.
This position requires expert knowledge of Quality Assurance practice and procedures. Expert level C and C++ (must have expertise in Visual Studio 2005 or later).Experience in Java or C#/.Net is preferred. Should have knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/Python. In-depth knowledge of SAS, SCSI & PCIe protocols. Experience in testing complex high performance storage systems. Experience in designing test environments for testing host drivers (Windows, Linux, VMWare), pre-boot (BIOS & UEFI) and firmware. Experience in system and lab setup for test efficiency. Direct experience on Windows platforms. Linux knowledge is also desirable. Software and system debug skills using debuggers. Experience using protocol analyzers in a lab environment. Expert level understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries. Should have clear understanding of HTML, XML, and overall web framework technology. Flash memory testing experience is highly desirable.
