POSITION � COMPENSATION METRICS ANALYST
LOCATION � SAN JOSE, CA
TYPE � CONTRACT
DURATION � 6 MONTHS
The role of the Compensation Metrics Analyst is to support the development of metrics, dashboards and reporting of the compensation programs and policies that attract, retain & motivate our Client�s global workforce. In this capacity, you will assist the team with compensation metrics and analytics through accurate market research, market intelligence, completion and analysis of salary surveys, analysis of employees� pay for internal equity and compensation-related policies, procedures and processes.
Responsibilities:
� Provide analytical, reporting and metrics management support for compensation initiatives for broad base and/or compensation programs.
� Responsible for performing ongoing reporting, analysis, communication and administration of global pay programs.
� Supports the development and/or the Company�s participation in compensation surveys.
� Supports competitive market analysis of employee compensation.
� Continually searches for process improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements:
� Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
� Progressively responsible compensation experience as demonstrated by relevant and hands-on work in the field for 3 to 5 years with emphasis in salary surveys, job evaluation, setting salary ranges, and base pay administration.
� Must be highly competent in the use of Excel (the ability to do moderately complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc. is ideal).
� Demonstrated proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Outlook).
� Solid HRIS skills and experience, including creating and running basic queries/reports.
� Previous experience in a global company dealing with salary administration preferred.
