POWIS PARKER SEEKING NATIONAL ACCOUNTS SALES MANAGER

To drive growth in current and new national accounts after release of our new Fastback 20, Powis has an opportunity for an experienced National Accounts Sales Manager to join our team, make a real contribution to company success and receive competitive compensation to reward results.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Powis Parker National Accounts Sales Manager will be responsible for developing an ongoing revenue stream of $1,500,000+ per year through sales to national accounts such as and including FedEx/Kinkos, Staples, Canon, Konica Minolta and others in the Printing Finishing/Office Products industry.
The new National Accounts Sales Manager will increase revenue through Powis' existing accounts while opening new national accounts. Developing strong relationships at both the corporate, regional and local levels is a significant part of this job. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful National Accounts Sales Manager will effectively:
•Identify key decision makers and influencers within National Accounts.
•Develop strategies for gaining access and building trusting and successful business relationships within these accounts.
•Negotiate equitable and mutually-beneficial contracts with each National Account.
•Create and maintain a rolling 12-month Account Plan for each National Account.
•Utilize creativity to define merchandising, promotional and awareness campaigns (directed to in-store sales personnel, outside sales personnel and end-customer) for each National Account. Work with Powis' marketing team to support National Accounts' marketing activities.
•Develop and sustain working relationships with key sales managers (retail and outside) within National Accounts.
•Develop incremental business through gaining mindshare at corporate headquarters and key regional locations of each National Account.
•Collaborate with internal Powis team to ensure all National Accounts have an excellent customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
To insure success, the National Accounts Sales Manager must have the following experience, skills and qualities:
•Experience selling into the Print Finishing industry or office products/stationery vertical markets – with contacts into accounts such as Canon, Staples, FedEx/Kinkos, Xerox, Konica Minolta and others
•Minimum of 5 years' successful experience developing and managing national and/or strategic accounts in the B2B technology or print services industries
•Consultative/relationship-based sales style and demonstrated success exceeding sales quota for more than 10 years
•Strong track record of penetrating, negotiating and developing new business opportunities within strategic or national accounts, partners, distributors, or resellers
•Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a Strategic Account Plan to achieve long-term sales goals
•Creative, strategic thinker and problem solver
•An independent self-starter who appreciates and respects working with a strong team
•Patient, persistent and persuasive in driving sales results
•Adaptable and customer-focused
•Strong written and verbal skills, including demonstrated ability to create professional sales proposals and contracts
•Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Management, Psychology or related field is required.
