Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President Finance with strong support to the Sales function. This position is responsible for providing general business support and analytical reporting for the Sales Teams to aid them in general account and program management, budget preparation, and business trends.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Sales team with reports, projects, etc. as required.
• Lead Sales Forecasting discipline in conjunction with Finance.
• Maintain, monitor, and create weekly sales tracking and reporting.
• Work with the Sales team to determine effectiveness of sales initiatives and programs.
• Create and analyze reports as required to review and compare customer pricing.
• Create methods, analyze and monitor individual trend reports by territories.
• Work with the Finance Department and Operations Team to review current tools and create new tools for understanding account profitability.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
• Work with the Marketing Department to understand impact of marketing programs.
• Work with outside sales reps on special requests for reports, presentations, etc.
Experience/Qualifications:
• B.S. degree or equivalent required, concentration in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• 2-3 years of experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Multi-source data mining skills.
• Skill with forecasting revenue and expenses (trend analysis).
• Ability to translate complex verbal requests for information into meaningful data analysis.
• Ability to condense large data sets into succinct summary report.
• Advanced computer literacy, Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Knowledge of programming language a plus
• Strong project coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work and lead in a cross-functional team environment
