Leadership Development Director
Location: Silicon Valley, CA
You will create and execute on the company's talent strategy by developing leaders and managers globally to accelerate the company's ability to be a leader in digital entertainment. This role will be responsible for developing Management, Leadership and Executive Development programs and processes from first level manager to VPs. These offerings will blend a variety of learning experiences including classroom-based workshops, e-learning, online collaborative sessions with business leaders, and action learning projects. You will work with the company's top leaders to build a culture of high performance, development and accountability for talent development.
Build leadership and management development programs and practices to align with our leadership competencies and overall talent strategy.
Develop and communicate a compelling Leadership Development strategy to attract, develop and retain strong leadership talent.
Gain alignment and engagement with C-suite leadership and other key leaders in support of the leadership development initiatives.
Evolve Company's "Leadership Essentials" and "Management Blox" offerings to include multiple learning methods (e.g., social learning, online learning, classroom learning) that provide a foundation for leadership and promote a learning culture.
Develop High Potential Learning Programs for specific roles that provide career growth for high potential employees in partnership with their manager and HR business partner.
Consult with business leaders and human resources business partners on leadership and management development gaps to create targeted development opportunities in areas critical to transforming the company's business.
Design programs internally and partner with external content providers to customize programs for internal adoption.
Design supplemental tools and programs to compliment core program offerings to maintain impact and deliver ROI.
Proactively monitor, track and evaluate impact of various leader programs and processes.
Full lifecycle work on the leadership competencies change initiative to continue integration and awareness of the behaviors into HR and Business practices.
Effectively manage Company University projects and people in a matrix organization
Requirements:
Prefer 10+ years in Learning and/or Organizational Development
Demonstrated success as a hands-on, contributing member of a team in a performance-driven and fast-moving company.
Deep understanding of Learning and Development principles and what makes great learning experiences.
Demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Previous experience designing, organizing, managing, and delivering learning programs for session's involving 15-150 people.
Work effectively and communicate with all levels in the organization.
Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
Project management capability, excellent organization skills, ability to balance numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
A successful track record of autonomy, leadership and initiative.
Ability to lead others through change as well as personally thrive in a fast-changing environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's or PhD degree with an emphasis in OD, Training & Development, or Organizational Psychology a plus.
