[KITlist] CONTR: Online Marketing Specialist (Santa Cruz/WFH, CA)

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Online Marketing Specialist consultant for our tech client located in Santa Cruz. The Specialist will oversee dual functions: 1) maintaining our client's corporate social media presence and 2) overseeing their email marketing policies, procedures and practices. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing multiple/concurrent online marketing campaigns spanning both social media and email marketing, with an emphasis on ensuring adherence to digital policies. Seeking an easy going, self-directed, roll up the sleeves consultant with strong internal customer service orientation.


Specific responsibilities include:


Social Media:

* Maintain presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn

* Research various topics and audiences in order to build new campaign strategies

* Manage all social media corporate accounts by monitoring and tracking discussions and comments as well as updating daily postings with new content and link posts

* Manage social media editorial calendar

* Tracking social media metrics utilizing HootSuite, Radian 6, Google Analytics

* Coordinate with IT support team, PR and product teams for responses and reporting


Email Campaigns:

* Maintain a schedule of email marketing to all audiences to ensure compliance with CAN SPAM regulations

* Create and manage up to 20 automated online marketing campaigns per month; corporate and B2C end-user programs

* Member of core review team for all email programs to ensure design best practices

* Primary liaison with account management and support team at Silverpop

* Assist internal Silverpop users with troubleshooting

* Maintain a 12 month calendar of email program enhancements to ensure clients' forefront positioning in email marketing

* Socialize email marketing and design best practices with internal marketing teams. Subject matter expert for internal marketing teams in regards to email marketing benchmark data

* Aggregate campaign content from internal teams, edit, manage review cycles, create and manage an email project calendar

* Manage campaign dashboards, A/B testing for performance optimization

* Roll up campaign metrics (sends, opens, click throughs, etc.) into PowerPoint presentations for stakeholder review


Skills:


* 5+ years of online marketing campaign experience within the technology industry

* Experience with Salesforce.com preferred

* Hands on experience with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, HootSuite, Radian 6 and Google Analytics required

* Knowledge of CAN SPAM regulations and how to best apply them to email marketing practices

* Prefer experience managing email campaigns with Silverpop. Experience with other enterprise marketing automation tools (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, ExactTarget) a plus

* Understanding of market segmentation

* Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver results

* Solid Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

* Excellent people skills: approachable, adaptable, (internal) customer service oriented

* Strong verbal and written communications skills

* BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar


Rate: $1,260 per week, w2 as a Crawford Group employee

Hours/Duration: Full time. Starting October 1, 2012 up to one year, potential to extend

Location: Two days onsite at client's office in Santa Cruz with flexibility for offsite/work from home. No phone calls please
