Communications Manager

We are looking for a Communications Manager for a contract opportunity at a Global High Technology Leader. This role will focus on internal communication needs of a highly strategic business transformation project. The Communication Manager will work with the Sr. Manager responsible for the strategic program to provide internal, executive-level communication, and broad based internal stakeholder communications. The role will also include project management support for the Sr. Manager. These responsibilities will include scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, action item follow up, etc.

This is a 40 hour per week, onsite role at the client´s offices in San Jose, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. This is an ongoing contract opportunity, with quarterly projects.

Responsibilities include:
• Create clear program positioning and messaging
• Accountable for alignment of strategic program messaging
• Messaging and executive presentation development
• Create proactive communications plan
• Website design and content development
• Clear, consistent and regular internal communications to stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Project management support and meeting organization (project management, program management experience needed)
• Serve and participate in weekly meetings and ensure follow-up on all actionable communications items by the team
• Collaborate closely with each project lead and drive cross-functional collaboration with change management in mind

Requirements:
• 10+ years' experience in strategic communications and corporate positioning expertise in IT Fortune 500 companies
• Past expertise includes: media relationships, industry analyst relationships, internal communications, messaging, speech writing, field communications, executive communications
• High level of attention to detail
• Highly Collaborative: great team player as well as ability to work independently, takes a consultative approach with excellent listening skills
• Strong relationship building, influencing, communication and facilitation skills during times of uncertainty, rapid change, aggressive timelines, budget constraints and operational requirements
• Unique ability to swiftly appreciate the subtleties of new and innovative commercial capabilities which can still be received with resistance depending on the type of audience
• Develop intimate knowledge of new business models programs and offers
• Bachelor's Degree
