Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Mobile Apps Project Manager consultant for our clients' Corporate Marketing organization. The consultant will be the driver of all projects related to mobile apps within the organization, including managing any new projects, finalizing apps currently in progress to completion, and ensuring adherence to corporate brand and legal guidelines. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager with a clear understanding of mobile apps and the app development and release process, who can articulate the business value of the apps to internal stakeholders. Seeking an extrovert who is flexible and productive despite ambiguity, works well independently as well as collaboratively, and thrives in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Track current mobile app projects to completion
* Manage relationships with stakeholders across the company as well as external vendors
* Initiate and manage through completion any new/approved mobile app projects
* Proactively identify and effectively resolve issues, communicate risks to stakeholders, develop a risk mitigation strategy and contingency plan
* Manage projects within defined budgets and timelines
* Ensure compliance with existing corporate guidelines on all mobile apps and assist in the continued development of new guidelines
Skills:
* Must have five+ years' proven technical marketing project management experience in the technology sector for at least large company
* Proven success at driving projects to successful completion employing the project management lifecycle Waterfall, Scrum or Agile methodologies strongly preferred
* Familiarity with apps/online/web design and development concepts and methodologies
* Mobile experience for Apple iOS and Android
* A clear understanding of the business value of mobile apps to an enterprise-level company, and the ability to articulate this to internal stakeholders
* Manage all communications relating to mobile apps projects; provide consistent progress updates via the project dashboard and/or internal/external status reports
* Self-directed, independent, able to work well with people at all levels of the organization, including executives
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
* Solid experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Bachelors' degree
Rate: $2400/week as a W2 employee of Crawford Group.
Location: Two days onsite at clients' office on the Peninsula, three days offsite/remote. Local S.F. Bay Area candidates only; no phone calls please.
Hours/Duration: Full time, ASAP – ongoing.
