Position Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineers
Job Description: Do you have what it takes to step up?
As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll work with a team of engineers in a scrum/Agile methodology) to test code developed incrementally over a series of sprints. You'll need to be comfortable working with developers as features are designed, and able to ask questions as an quality advocate for the customer. Test design range from detailed functional testing to system-level testing. This requires familiarity with networking diagnostic and traffic generation tools and methodologies. Since network anomaly/fraud detection is a developing field, you must be able to learn quickly, and be open to new ways of doing things. Most of all, you must embrace quality assurance as the proxy voice for the customer.
Responsibilities:
· Create and execute test plans and test cases for assigned component/feature and perform defect tracking and management.
· Contribute in building automated regression tests from cases.
· Developing testing tools and resources to aid in testing effort.
· Help define and lead the effort to implement quality requirements and processes.
· Work within the Agile scrum software development methodology, as part of a small team to creatively fill needs as they are identified.
· Candidate will be a supportive team member while independently working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Required Skillset/Experience:
A qualified candidate will have many or all of the following:
· Solid Linux or Unix user capabilities
· Familiar with networking multiple servers and have HTTP protocol knowledge
· Testing enterprise-level, integrated backend server applications OR (distributed systems) OR working in multi-function appliance/server
· It's an added plus if you have experience in security application testing (familiar with rules-based, signature or traffic analysis based security)
· Proficient in a scripting/programming languages-Python and UNIX shell preferred but Perl will do
· Working with automation testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Robot), and developing testing scripts
· It's an added plus if you have experience with Database (MySQL, Oracle etc.) or with Data Analysis
Attributes
· Embrace new ideas (yours or from others)
· Have at least 6+ years experience as a quality assurance engineer
· Have Automated and performance testing experience with in-house and/or 3rd party tools
· Demonstrate solid knowledge of testing techniques in order to apply risk-based testing concepts
