The Senior Manager, Product and Customer Quality is an instrumental member of the Global Quality team.

Responsibilities include for the key role include:

• Manage product quality assurance function including product assurance and engineering services maintaining effective working relationships with supplier and manufacturing quality, engineering, service, product management, operations.
• Ownership and execution of Customer Quality interface including Escalated Accounts program with weekly reporting to senior leadership.
• Manages multiple customer quality reviews, various pre- and post-sales support including relevant contract and bids and proposals review. Effective management of quality issues through the use of failure modes analysis, root cause determination and corrective and preventive action implementation.
• Manage statistical data, tools and methods to support product field performance trending and action systems including reporting to the TL 9000 administrator and customers as required.
• Responsible for the effective and efficient identification and improvement actions for emerging trends to potential quality, reliability or customer satisfaction issues.
• Participates as key new product introduction to create and deploy Quality Plans for new hardware, software, systems and services delivery
• Manages homologation system including any agency or third party coordination for relevant safety, emissions or other product regulatory or statutory deliverables, such as UL, CE, CSA mark
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, TL 9000, AS 9100 and ISO 14001, WEEE to support the business needs including internal audit and supporting third party certification maintenance and improvement.
• Owns the component engineering activities including BOM streamlining across product lines, end-of-life identification and auctioning, environmental compliance efforts to maintain products to RoHS (II), REACH, CDP, Conflict Minerals or other regulatory, statutory or customer requirements as needed

Essential qualifications:

• BS or equivalent in a technical field.
• 10 years experience in managing quality assurance and or quality control in an OEM product line of similar complexity.
• Knowledge or experience with manufacturing test development including data structure, mining and monitoring highly desired.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, TL 9000, AS 9100, ISO 140001, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, UL, CSA, CE.
• CAPA
• Database or other tools to manage quality systems such as Agile, Oracle.
• Direct team and leading without authority experience
Desired Qualifications:
• MBA
• Managerial experience in multiple disciplines
• 6 Sigma, TQM or equivalent
