Human Resources Manager position w/Bilingual/Manufacturing/Safety exp for Simmons Bedding - Hazletownship, Pennsylvania

Location: Hazletownship, PA
Summary: Be a business partner in leading the plant by balancing long- and short-term activities and managing processes and people. Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulation affecting human resource functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
-Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
-Recruit, interview, test, and select associates to fill vacant positions
-Conduct required and developmental training for new hires, associates, and managers
-Prepare associate separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
-Prepare reports and recommend procedures to resolve any related challenges (e.g., absenteeism, turnover) and drive change initiatives
-Advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues
-Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
-Prepare budget of human resources operations
-Administer performance review program and administer salary administration program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization
-Administer benefits programs including record retention of benefit plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions
-Oversee the administration of workers’ compensation and safety programs
-Participate in the daily Lean Management System meeting
-Maintain all HR electronic and paper files and adhere to retention schedules
-Worker’s compensation and safety administration.
-Will participate in working on special projects as needed.
-Partners with Plant Leadership Team and supports the plants mission.
Position Qualifications
-Excellent written, oral, organizational, and time management skills
-Proficient in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite
-Strong computer and analytical skills and a team player
-Bilingual – proficiency with Spanish preferred
-Experience with Union Labor management is a plus.

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-5-10 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
