The Sage Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to work for a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of consumer electronics and software products in the Silicon Valley. This person will be responsible for planning, forecasting and replenishment of service parts in emerging markets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop strategic partnership with distributor organizations in the different markets to resolve tactical planning and execution issues to maintain healthy flow of materials in the supply chain.
- Support distributors in executing supply/demand planning on a regular basis to achieve higher fill rates and reduced backlog for service parts.
- Drive planning, forecasting, and replenishment of service parts on a weekly basis for worldwide distributors.
- Develop baseline Target Stocking Level (TSL) by part number.
- Develop and refine forecasting and target stock planning models on an on-going basis.
- Analyze historical data to identify and fix data integrity issues.
- Analyze impact of seasonality and other business events on demand patter and apply appropriate adjustments in Target Stocking Level balance inventory levels on a regular basis to optimize inventory at distributor locations.
- Develop and refine distributor planning strategy 1-3 years out.
- Develop replenishment strategies to support the business needs and help the distributor achieve higher fill rates in emerging markets.
- Help achieve service supply chain KPI targets around fill rate percentage by working with replenishment managers in respective distributor organizations.
- Review supply chain performance with distributor accounts to review plan to actual performance, root cause for deviation and action plan to fix the issues.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain within tech
- 3+ years of ERP experience
- Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and optimization techniques
- Proficiency with Excel, Keynote, and statistical planning tools
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, demand planning, and supply planning
- Previous logistics, inventory management, or forecasting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills Preferred:
- APICS or other forecasting certification
