In this position, the individual will be responsible for reporting into the Strategic Sales Planning group and will be in charge of pricing and promotional dollar approvals for various channels in the America's region (including Latin America). The individual will approve pricing requests, pricing models, and promotional POS dollars based on profitability goals, revenue goals, competitive analysis, and overall strategic direction of the retail division.
This position requires a BS/BA degree in business/finance related disciplines and at least 5 years of experience with pricing and channel planning for consumer based products. Experience with pricing and promotional activities in distribution (both North America and Latin America) and excellent knowledge of the retail environment are required. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
