Sr.Software Test (White Box) Engineer (Prefer Local Candidates) Must be able to read and write in OOP either Java, C# C++

Job Description:

Software Engineers in Test (SET) are an important part of the development team and are responsible for designing automated testing systems, creating test strategies, writing test plans and managing small teams that write test plans, and implementing robust test automation. Responsibilities include reporting problems and advocating for code fixes, identifying bug patterns, and supporting sound engineering processes using best patterns and practices.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

Responsible for automated testing efforts on the projects

Works with manual testers to determine high value automation areas

Participates in project development and sprint planning processes

Development and creation of test cases for automated tests

Runs tests and logs results

Provide status updates to Development team, updates sprint backlog

Required Skills:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of software development experience

Knowledge of software development and software testing lifecycles

Familiar with TDD paradigm and QA aspects of it

Fluent with .NET based test automation frameworks (NUnit, MS Test, etc.)

Good coding skills in C#

Passionate about quality and software testing

Experience with test automation, test tool creation, automation framework (Coded UI, Selenium, etc.) is a plus

Knowledge of the .NET Framework is preferred

Working knowledge of Scrum (XP, Agile, etc) project planning and execution
