Sr Project/Program Technical Manager ( Local Candidates Please) Individual must have a solid track record in deployment/ logistics/ and project management
Description
EcoFactor is seeking a Sr Project/Program Technical Project Manager to join its software engineering team. Our robust SaaS system constitutes a wide range of components from Web portals to database-centric backend applications. Successful candidate must be a self-starter, problem solver and team player.
Responsibilities
Manage complex technical projects that involve in-house software development and system integrations with partners and vendors
Discuss projects with technology partners, gather functionality requirement and build technical specifications
Work with product and engineering staff to help translate functionality requirements into implementable technical specifications
Help manage the entire software development lifecycle from inception to post-production support
Scope out technical projects, prioritize project components and establish timelines
Skills
5+ years of experience managing large-scale technical projects- track record of successful implementation is critical for this role
Proven track records in managing complex software engineering projects preferably related to SaaS platform development
Experience in managing complex systems integration projects with multiple partners/vendors
Hands-on experience in the following:
Software development lifecycle and processes
UI/Portal application development
Web services, XML
Object oriented programming
Open-source software environment
Linux-based development environment
Career experience in the smart energy, home automation industry desired
Hands-on experience as a software engineer building highly scalable applications in the past preferred
Experience in managing projects that involve embedded software development a plus
Knowledge of WPAN protocols such as ZigBee a plus
