Job Title:- Sr. Sourcing Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for sourcing indirect spend, maximizing revenue opportunities while minimizing business and legal exposure. Ensures contracts and business relationships adhere to company policy and legal requirements. This includes creating cost savings, identifying and developing high quality suppliers, increasing the efficiency of the sourcing and purchasing process, ensuring a fair and equitable environment for suppliers.

Essential Functions:

This position will be responsible for supporting service related requirements across multiple functions including; HR, Finance, Legal, Workplace Resources.
• Procurement, contractual and supplier management responsibilities for indirect spend
• Drafting agreements, Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) documentation with no direction using traditional or e-sourcing applications
• Developing performance metrics for Supplier scorecarding and contract terms and coordinating/conducting Supplier reviews
• Oversee supplier performance consistent with established goals and performance metrics
• Aggressive pursuit of cost savings opportunities balanced with creating win-win supplier contract terms for optimal service
• Ability to develop and plan individual commodity strategies with minimal supervision as well as manage projects and programs
Participates in developing and executing some global commodity strategies as well as leads diverse projects and programs

Requirements:
o Functions as a lead consultant and project manager
o Ability to manage beyond own organization, recognizing business concerns of as a whole
o Proficiency to manage and/or lead cross-functional/organizational global project teams
o Ability to forecast long-range implication of decisions and develop short-term tactics to reach them
o Able to seek out and obtain local and country buy-in to reach sourcing and procurement objectives

• Technical Functional Experience
o Strong contract review and negotiation skills
o Demonstrates expertise as a procurement subject expert within the organization
o Demonstrates working knowledge of company business in solving a broad range of problems and develops innovative solutions to problems
o Able to convey complex business concepts through oral and written communication
o Effectively leads teams in projects of significant complexity
o Develop and negotiate complex contract and pricing agreements
o Expert knowledge and ability to apply procurement policies, theories and concepts
o Ability to successfully interact and influence senior management both internal and external escalating issues to senior management when appropriate
o Ability to analyze information, make recommendations, develop reports, and present data to senior level management with minimal review
o Demonstrated competency in the procurement process and the practical application of ethical business practices
o Partnering with the customer on their budget management and spend forecasting

o Working with Others – (1) Able to manage, build rapport and influence external and internal resources on program development and implementation, (2) Able to confront people and/or project problems as appropriate to steer timely resolution
o Teamwork – (1) Leads sourcing project teams to appropriate supplier selections, scope of work and contract terms, (2) Leads complex and/or global cross-functional teams as needed
o Problem Solving and Decision Making – Works independently and develops approach to solutions exercising considerable latitude in determining assignment objectives. Work may be reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
o Planning & Organizing – (1) Ability to prioritize key tasks and projects (2) Able to set clear objectives and goals for tasks with measurable success metrics for the projects and/or teams they are leading
Results Oriented – Takes responsibility and required action to meet deadlines

Education:
- BA/MBA or equivalent experience – Minimum 7 years experience

Desired: CPM Certification

Location:- Sunnyvale, CA
