Position Details:
Job Title : Deskside Support
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : End of the year (Candidate must be flexible for an extension)
Position Requirements:
· Responsible for providing support to internal customers on the deployment, usage, and troubleshooting of deskside technology, which consists of desktop and laptop computers (both hardware and software), handheld Blackberry devices, Anyplace VPN remote access, and Lotus Notes email and related technologies.
· Candidate will have expertise in Windows and Apple operating system and devices.
· Candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer support, both at the deskside and using remote control access on a variety of deskside technology.
· Candidate will display strong customer service and good people skills. Job requirements include
· 3-5 years experience supporting Windows-based desktop and laptop computers (hardware & software)
· 3-5 years experience supporting Windows (XP and or Windows 7) and Microsoft Office
· 3-5 years experience supporting Apple devices (MACs, iPads)
· 3-5 years experience providing support to remotes users (VPN, VDI, etc)
· 2-3 years experience supporting Lotus Notes preferred
· 1-2 experience supporting Blackberry users preferred
· Technical certifications a plus
