Role: Messaging Admin
Location: Houston TX
Duration: 9+ months
Rate: Open ( DOE)
Experience:
This individual will be part of an Enterprise Messaging Team providing enterprise-wide support for a large organization. The ability to deliver results and handle critical situations in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities will be an essential ingredient for success.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years as an IT Professional
• 4+ years with large scale Exchange deployments
• 3+ years managing Blackberry Enterprise Server, Good Link and Microsoft Lync solutions
• Extensive knowledge of Powershell scripting for automation of routine tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex escalation issues and respond to customer demands in a timely manner
• Ability to think independently while working in a team environment
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and DNS and how it relates to the messaging environment
• Proactive monitoring of the messaging environment
• Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call support
• Ability to participate in weekend maintenance activities as required
Additional Experience Desired:
• Knowledge of storage concepts
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot performance
• Knowledge to Continuous Availability Messaging design and architecture for DR/BC
• Knowledge of Proofpoint and Vontu Security solutions
