This high level Procurement position is responsible for the new product development of sourcing strategies to achieve the best total value for the business units, inclusive of commodity management strategies and execution, supplier selection, negotiation, cost reductions, and supply base performance management.

This individual would also be responsible for:
- working with suppliers to reduce total cost of ownership
- developing and managing strategic suppler relationships
- monitoring and improving supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and cost.
- partnering with product development teams in the identification and qualification of suppliers for new

- identifying, leading, and implementing cost reduction opportunities in support of business strategies.
- drive continuous improvements projects
- understanding/certified in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- strong knowledge of SAP preferred
