The Role: Regional Operations Manager

Controlled Contamination Services is currently searching for a Regional Operations Manager to supervise, oversee, plan and coordinate all activities in the San Francisco Bay area. The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring the Cleanroon Cleaning Operations to ensure all activities are completed promptly and correctly.
Approximately 40%-50% of your time will be spent in the office in Hayward, CA, where you will be responsible for staff performance management and staff development in areas such as cGMP training, technical skills, safety, and performance. You will also plan, organize, and lead projects to improve efficiency and implement best practices in business management.
The other 50%-60% of your time will be spent visiting customer sites where you will interview customers and analyze business processes to ensure functional requirements accurately reflect user needs. You will be responsible for identifying the technical, procedural and equipment issues that hinder cleaning performance, and relaying recommendations to our personnel and manager, as needed. You will identify deviations and follow through on corrective and preventative measures.
This position is a full-time 40-50 hour per week position that will require someone to have a dynamic schedule as hours vary by clients needs. This will include travel to client sites in the region, as well as travel between the Bay Area and our corporate headquarters in Southern California (San Diego) for occasional training/meetings.
What skills and qualifications do I need?•Bachelor or associates degree is preferred, but not required
•5+ years experience in a supervisory role of at least 3 or more employees
•Experience with all HR aspects of managing a staff (recruiting, hiring, firing, training)
•Must have excellent communication skills
•Must possess excellent documentation skills
•Must possess knowledge of cGMP (good manufacturing practices) regulations and follow appropriately
•Ability to work independently on non-routine assignments, and use judgment in consulting management in controversial situations
•Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload
•Must have a familiarity with cleaning chemical components and nomenclature
•Must have experience creating policies and procedures
