Software Engineer
· Developing embedded software for marine electronics devices
· Cross-platform debugging of embedded systems
· Occasional travel in the local area for on-the-water product testing
· Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, MSEE preferred
· 3.25 or better GPA in core engineering classes
· Must have at least four years of embedded software development experience
· Must have very strong C and C++ development skills
· Must have very strong debugging skills
· Must be able to read, interpret and give feedback on electrical schematics
· Experience with the ARM architecture a plus
· Experience with networked systems (e.g., CAN and Ethernet) a plus
· Digital Signal Processing (DSP) experience a plus
· Experience with Perl and Python a plus
· Hardware design experience a plus
· Linux development experience a plus
