Shutterfly is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, action-oriented Manager of Promotions to analyze promotional performance, help define and drive the promotions strategy, and execute promotional programs. You will be part of a talented team that plans and executes promotional programs designed to maximize Shutterfly revenue while maintaining target margins. This role requires a strong but collaborative individual who is capable of pulling insights from data analysis, translating into promotion recommendations, and working cross-functionally to drive successful execution.
As a Manager of Promotions you will partner closely with key business unit and marketing team leaders to determine strategies, set-up test plans, and execute programs.
*Responsibilities:*
Promotions
o Obtain and analyze historical discount data
o Identify key insights from data and recommend opportunities to optimize promo strategies
o Work with other marketing groups to translate strategies into specific promotional programs
o Lead the execution of promotions and promotional tests
Forecasting
o Establish forecasts for YoY growth for all products based on promotional strategies
o Update the product volume forecast and communicate it to the materials and factory organizations for capacity planning and production
*Qualifications:*
* 5 – 10 + years of experience in an analytical role within a Finance or Marketing organization
* Strong SQL/database query skills
* Highly strategic, quantitative and analytical
* Ability to collaborate actively & effectively on multidisciplinary teams
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
* Motivated, dynamic, creative and results-oriented
* Retail and/or Ecommerce experience a plus but not required
