VMware Senior Designer
(Contractor)
The Role
The VMware Senior Designer position(contractor) plays a critical role in creating and executing upon the brand standards for creative communications by leveraging the current brand guidelines. This senior designer position is within the Marketing Services group and works with groups across the entire company including, but not limited to: web team, product marketing, global field marketing, HR, and outside agencies. This position requires that the individual is able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment, and is a very hands-on position. This position reports to the Director of Marketing Services (marcom).
Requirements
• 10 years design experience within an agency working on technology clients and/or within a technology company
• Accomplished in designing marketing materials: collateral, templates, signage, event materials, advertisements, PPT templates, etc.
• Knowledge of major web and motion graphics design applications
• Adept at managing many projects at a time and prioritizing workload
• Knowledge of project and workflow processes
• Ability to work in a consultative, service-oriented role with cross-functional stakeholders
• B.F.A. in graphic design or equivalent.
Important: Must be able to create then produce a project from start to finish, including layout.
Technical Skills Required
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, AcrobatPro
SlideRocket (not required but would be a plus)
