Sr. Staff Accountant
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own all facets of day-to-day accounting processes for small, fast-paced early stage business; reports directly to the VP of Finance.
• Accounts Receivable: customer invoicing, collections, cash application
• Accounts Payable: invoice match, entry, payments
• Cash Management and Treasury
• Operate month-end close process:
o Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
o Reconcile key balance sheet account on a monthly basis
o Book month-end journal entries
o Prepare monthly reporting package, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
o Perform financial statement analysis to understand monthly financial result
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• CPG company experience preferred
• 5 -7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor´s degree in accounting or finance - CPA preferred
• International accounting consolidation
• Proficient in use of QuickBooks software required
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, array formulas, macros, etc)
• Very strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a team environment, poised and patient to listen, teach and lead
