The Role: Business Development Officer
The Location: Oklahoma, Tennessee, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico
Our company, a specialist in accounts receivable financing, is looking for entrepreneurial "go-getters" to identify, develop and promote our factoring or receivables finance product capability to new customers. Our Business Development Officers will call on prospects through cold-calls, on-site visits and networking. They will follow up on leads, evaluate business potential and introduce product to customers and close deals. The Business Development Officers build a pipeline and constantly review the flow of new business to ensure that quarterly sales targets are achieved. Our ideal candidates have an entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering desire to succeed.
Your Required Skills & Experience:
•You have a bachelor's degree in business, finance or a closely related field
•You have two to three years of experience in banking or commercial lending
•You possess a thorough understanding of business/financial concepts, terminology and practices
•You have a professional appearance with superior communication and negotiation skills
•You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
•You are self-motivated, entrepreneurial, professional and exercise sound judgment
•You are able and have interest in selling financial services with a short sales cycle
•You are able to travel on an as-needed basis
•Your knowledge of Salesforce is highly desirable, but not required
