About this Position:
We're looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to collaborate with our product teams in defining and launching our products. Your involvement in the product process will include competitive analysis, user research (both qualitative and quantitative), writing project briefs with basic business cases, defining marketing requirements, providing product copy, designing our go-to-market strategy, and working with our PR team to differentiate our offerings in the media. You will be aligned to our Documents product line, and will work closely with the product managers working on this business.
Aside from collaborating on products, your deliverables will also include projects such as site pages, product videos, and videos featuring our network of Rocket Lawyer On Call® lawyers that explain what Rocket Lawyer is, and how it works.
You must collaborate well with cross-functional teams including product managers, copy writers, and designers to get projects done. You will deliver 2-3 deliverables per quarter, and will need to be feel comfortable presenting your work and project roadmap to executives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Competitive analysis, user research (both qualitative and quantitative), writing project briefs with basic business cases, defining marketing requirements, providing product copy, designing our go-to-market strategy, and working with our PR team to differentiate our offerings in the media
- Drive projects such as site pages, product videos, and videos featuring our network of Rocket Lawyer On Call® lawyers that explain what Rocket Lawyer is, and how it works. Work closely with in-house copywriters and designers to complete your deliverables.
- Leverage our copy and visual style guidelines to ensure that your work is consistent with our brand
- Use tools such as Optimizely, Survey Monkey, Usertesting.com to inform your projects.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Product Marketing function
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field. MBA a plus
- A portfolio showing that you have created the types of assets required by this job
