2014-0093 Database Administrator-Ft. Lauderdale FL
Full-time direct-not a contract.
Our client is looking for a Senior Database Analyst/Programmer for their team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This is a direct hire position with a health organization located in downtown Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in computer related field and 6 years of progressive experience in database administration environment preferably in the healthcare setting.
· Successful candidate will create and perform all database administration requirements for development, testing and implementing a database warehouse include capacity planning.
· Must have proven leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Proven ability to provide technical support to application team, evaluate current database and identify optimal solution to interface the distributed data into a central database.
· Candidate must possess experience with Oracle and MS SQL including maintaining database dictionaries, security and monitoring, puts standards in place to ensure integrity, security and performance.
· Additional skills required: MS Project, SQL reporting tools, AD, Business Intelligence experience.
· Healthcare experience and ITIL certification is a plus. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
