Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is a managed consulting services firm targeting client organizations that are responsible for Marketing, Events and Communications. We are seeking an Account Manager to support one of our burgeoning accounts.

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving and managing existing client programs while developing account plan(s) to drive account penetration, reach client revenue targets and strengthen client relationships. As new opportunities arise, the Account Manager will create program specifications, develop project quotes, "close" sales, select project teams and manage the teams' efforts to guarantee successful execution and high client satisfaction.

The Account Manager must have a solid grasp of Marketing Communications best practice standards and most importantly, a thorough understanding and experience with the complete corporate event cycle. The ideal candidate is secure in working in a complex matrix corporate culture and is able to negotiate politics and deal with various personalities. The candidate must to be secure in their knowledge of marketing and able to have open and consultative conversations with managers to senior executives. The Account Manager will provide in-person account support by spending time on the local campus networking and being onsite. A relaxed style, yet detail oriented and on task personality is a great plus.

Specific responsibilities:
Develop account plan:
Create and drive plan(s) to target growth areas within account
Develop new client relationships, identify new opportunities in account, network with different divisions in account Provide expert guidance to client in development of programs and requirements, provide program quotes, drive sales process

Develop necessary finance documents: estimates, SOWs, POs

Build teams and timelines for program rollout
Manage active programs within client, drive weekly project team meetings, mentor and guide team as needed
Manage internal finance process: Invoicing and tracking project profitability with Finance Manager
Drive onboarding of new consultants as needed: provide input for offer letters, submit information to client for consultant access, ensure all required trainings are completed

Skills:
-7-10 years of knowledge and experience with various marketing functions within an enterprise organization (e.g. marketing communications, event marketing, demand generation, field marketing, executive communications)

-Must have experience leading and managing the full corporate event cycle including, but not limited to: audience acquisition/demand generation, securing sponsorships, strategic planning, setting event goals that map to corporate objectives, venue/booth space selection, vendor management, onsite logistics management, speaker and booth staff management, managing events within events, post event ROI reporting

-Prior experience working for an Enterprise level storage/networking/high tech company is strongly Preferred
-Service-oriented working style; ability to create, manage, and deepen customer and consultant relationships through consistent connection and problem solving

Must have good relational soft skills and diplomacy for managing expectations and mentoring clients and consultants through changing business priorities

Professional savvy with broad business and management knowledge and experience; we are looking for a problem solver who responds creatively to challenges and is able to encourage others to identify possible solutions

Strong written and verbal communication skills; solid familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com

BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is required

RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available

LOCATION: 50% onsite in Campbell, CA, 50% remote/WFH/telecommute.
