Alliance Manager Internet of Things Consortium ( RTP, NC or San Jose, CA)
We are looking for an experienced Alliance Manager for an ongoing contractor role with a global high technology leader to establish an Internet of Things Consortium. The Consortium will include representatives from IoT companies, Universities, and Employment Industry professionals. The Alliance Manager would be responsible for the development and launch of this Internet of Things Consortium. The role entails establishing relationships and driving the consortium launch and agenda.
This is a 40 hour per week role onsite in at the client's offices in RTP, North Carolina or in San Jose, CA, as a w-2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. This is an ongoing contract opportunity, with 6 month contracts.
Responsibilities
- Develop Internet of Things consortium plan and agenda
- Develop consortium member relationships
- Launch consortium to the market
- Marketing for the Internet of Things product offering from the client
- including development of marketing tools and go to market plan execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of Alliance Management experience with enterprise solutions, industry groups and universities
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships
- Proven ability to develop and execute go to market plans
- Very strong written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn a new technology space
- Creative, ability to think about new ways to market solutions
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, peers in cross-functional teams, and third parties. BS degree
