Senior Network Architect
12 Month contracts.

This is NOT a "hands-on" position
This is an Architecture (design) role
Flex role: Individual contributor and flex to technical team-lead as needed
Office Location: MN or CT
Looking for extremely senior level candidates that are familiar with:
*Hosting: Corporate Tier 3 data centers & external managed/rented facilities, Public, Private, Hybrid cloud
*Network: Firewalls, VPNs, B2B WANs (MPLS and Point-to-point), DNS, Load Balancing
*Servers: Physical/Virtual Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris (Mainframe background is a bonus but not required)
*DBs: Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL, NoSQL
*Application Containers/BPM: WAS, JBoss, PEGA
*Messaging: IBM MQ, RabbitMQ
*Engineering: Security, scalability, elasticity, interoperability, geo-diverse designs, disaster recovery, high availability, cloud based architecture, performance testing, application integration, etc
Position background:
*We need senior level Engineers and Architects on our growing engineering team.
*This team will work on RFP responses for business in our sales pipeline
*This team will work on the actual implementations (end-to-end) as contracts close
*You will own the design so you will need to be accountable for the details around it
*Our team is based in our Hartford, CT and Plymouth, MN offices and may travel as needed to support the Sales and Implementation activities [Ability to travel is required; amount is TBD]
*This contract position could be converted to a full-time employee based upon the successful work of exceptional individuals. [For the employee positions work-from-home (telecommuting) is an option]
*Background checks are REQUIRED
*Additional commercial or governmental requirements/restrictions could apply on a case-by-case basis [Can you clear a gvt security check if needed?]
*The position will be a mix of individual contributor and technical team lead depending on the engagement
