Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a long-term Email Marketing Specialist for an assignment with one of our technology clients in Palo Alto, CA.

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for email creation, campaign set-up, and general marketing support using Eloqua.

The primary goal of the programs is to generate leads for our clients' Sales team and increase company revenue. The Email Marketing Specialist must have advanced level expertise with at least one enterprise level marketing automation tool (preferably Eloqua) and experience creating, designing and implementing multiple/concurrent email demand generation campaigns. The Specialist must be a solid HTML user, with hands on capabilities in segmenting lists, cleansing data, building landing pages and forms. Must have an understanding of how HTML affects emails and displays on various web platforms. The ideal consultant is someone looking for a long term workplace/"home," who is interested in potentially converting to a full time/permanent employee of our client. Seeking a positive, results driven self-manager, capable of handling a high volume workload. Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal direction and get stuff done!

Specific responsibilities:
Using content created by other team members, create, design and implement demand generation email campaigns in Eloqua.
Campaign management responsibilities include: contact/list management, email design, scheduling emails at specific times/ dates, creating triggered campaigns, conducting A/B split testing, ensuring quality control/ensuring the right values are assigned, tracking and reporting
Serve as "hands-on" marketing automation resource for marketing campaign requests
Work with team to review program requirements and identify areas of optimization
Roll up campaign metrics on an ongoing basis; update teams on performance of marketing campaigns and programs

Skills: 3-5 years' experience creating, designing and implementing demand generation email programs, preferably in Eloqua (Marketo or similar marketing automation tool)
Ability to manage 10 to 100 simultaneous email campaigns
Hands on knowledge of HTML (required), JavaScript (preferred but not required); working knowledge of web servers/technology, streaming media and the integration between these and Eloqua (Marketo or similar).

Must have the ability to write and manipulate HTML code, test and optimize if needed Capable of handling a high volume workload and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to apply creative thinking and sound reasoning, and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and function as a strong team player; meticulous, detail and results oriented
Positive attitude and desire to grow within an emerging organization
BA in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or related field strongly preferred

RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
