Role: Distribution Marketing Manager
Location: North East
Time Commitment: Full time Position

Overview: Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Distribution Marketing
Program Manager to develop and execute marketing plans the drive adoption of the client's products and programs through the distribution channel. (ie. Ingram Mico, Tech Data, Comstor, etc.).

Primary focus is to work with the client's distributor's cross functional teams to formulate marketing programs and promotions, establish mutual goals and strategies to increase the revenue of the client's product lines. In this role you will work as a liaison within the client to communicate and clearly articulate the Distribution marketing charter. You will also provide distributors with awareness around the client's key focus areas of direction by engaging with relevant internal/external teams, Disti Operations, Business Units, Field, Sales ,etc.

The right candidate must have the knowledge and experience in engaging with channel partners. Must have the skills to develop and execute marketing programs. Must have good communication, written and presentation skills Specific responsibilities include: -Demonstrate working knowledge of the partner and their business models. Responsible for partner interface and ongoing relationship. -Provide and influence development of strategic marketing direction, vision, and value proposition of client +distributor.

- Act as a thought leader, representing the "voice of the distributor" to the client and the "voice of the client" to the distributor for the marketing function.
- Conduct annual and quarterly marketing planning cycle with the distributor, setting marketing strategy and requirements based on business goals
- Create exposure opportunities for the distributor
- Bringing new, creative, business-relevant ideas to the table.
-Work within theater to understand market conditions, competitive threats, and report back on ROI/business results
- Work collaboratively with Channel Sales Leadership, Partner Account Managers, Distribution Operations, and Channel Marketing counterparts
- Seek insight into customer needs and industry trends to understand the dynamics that drive current and future opportunities
- Deliver recognizable value add and/or leadership in cross-functional team environments
- Ensures plans are reviewed and approved by channel marketing senior staff
- Trusted to effectively implement tactical details on own

Key qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in channel strategy and planning
- Experience working with distributors Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Comstor, Arrow, etc.
- Solid understanding of the small business and mid-market market
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Marketing. MBA a plus
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Good written and oral presentation skills
- Effective communication, project management & organization skills
- Marketing program development and execution skills
- Knowledge of the overall networking industry
- Ability to stay good-humored in a demanding environment
