Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is a marketing and communications firm providing professional services to high technology Fortune 1000 companies.
We work with clients who have business critical initiatives to deliver with insufficient internal expertise, resources or bandwidth. We provide project consulting expertise for strategy and execution of initiatives, campaigns, launches and programs. Crawford integrates seamlessly with our client teams to effectively develop and deliver projects on time and on budget.
We are currently seeking a part-time Business Development Coordinator to support our Business Development Director, 20 hours per week. Our ideal candidate must have the flexibility to potentially work up to an additional 20 hours per week (for a total of 40 hours/week) on a periodic basis, as business needs dictate. The Business Development Coordinator will be the critical contact person for regular coordination of programs and/or projects as related to business operations of the sales cycle and sales process. The Business Development Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Business Development Director in day-to-day sales operations. The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, and detail-oriented, has a customer-focused and results oriented working style, and excellent communication skills. Must thrive in a fast paced; small/medium business environment.
Specific responsibilities:
-Seeks to promote and maintain through interactions with others, a positive, professional, team-oriented, and service-conscious environment that contributes to the goals of the department and reflects the values of the organization
-Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development Director
-Schedules/confirms meetings; manages meeting location requirements
-Arrange sales tools as needed Processes expense reports
Supports development of estimates, statements of work
-Supports new client on-boarding
-Drives new business programs/projects
-Manages internal CRM tool
-Provides logistical support as needed
-Provides client project support as needed
-Utilize social media/LinkedIn for sales prospecting
Skills: 1-3 years' combined recent sales coordination, account coordination or project management experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally; excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Requires a high level of initiative, attention to detail and the ability to follow through on assignments to completion
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Demonstrated ability to work effectively with wide range of internal and external contacts
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Passion for details as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities while effectively multitasking
Excellent project management skills required
Understanding of LinkedIn/Social Media
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
BS or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is required
RATE: D.O.E., as an hourly W-2 employee of Crawford Group
LOCATION: 3 days/week onsite in Rescue, CA (El Dorado County/Gold Country). No phone calls, please.
HOURS/DURATION: Minimum 20 hours per week directly supporting Business Development Director. Must have the flexibility to potentially work up to an additional 20 hours per week (for a total of 40 hours/week) on a periodic basis, as business needs dictate.
