REFERRALS? IT QA Analyst w/Agile UFT, QTP, BPT, QC, ALM Automation exp. FULL-TIME position - Chicago, Illinois or Dallas/Richardson, Texas
BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for leading the design and development of test automation to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Manages multiple automation projects, leads proof-of-concept and automation presentations, develops project resource estimates, ensures delivery of quality automation products within budget, and coordinates with all stakeholders. Plans, develops, and maintains automation framework, tools, metrics, strategies, standards, methodologies and processes. Delivers mentoring and training to technical staff and acts as an internal consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience;
* 7 years of systems development, testing and/or business experience;
* 5 years of test automation experience and demonstrated expertise using test automation tools and programming languages
(descriptive programming with UFT, QTP, BPT, QC, ALM, VBscript, JavaScript, Selenium, Service Test web services API test tool or similar)
* Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements;
* Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business;
* Contributes to the development of functional strategy;
* Provides technical leadership for the automation team and leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives;
* Demonstrates extensive technical, analytical, communications, and leadership skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with agile automation projects;
* Experience with mobile or cross-browser testing;
* Experience managing globally distributed staffing resources;
