OVERLAND STORAGE: A Great Place for Your Future!
Position: Webmaster-Web Designer Plan, create and manage website structure and content with multiple offsite vendors to create a fresh, new, consolidated corporate website. Create and execute the new, integrated website design, implementation, ongoing updates, graphics and usability of corporate website and partner portal.
JOB CONTENT:
- Design, plan and build new corporate website that includes technical, aesthetic and functional criteria.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to architect, produce and oversee the integration of various web content and assets from three existing corporate websites.
- Ensure consistent graphic style throughout website
- Assume responsibility for on-time delivery and quality of new and existing websites. Manage and/or implement ongoing changes and updates.
- Design and produce various graphics materials such as collateral, banner design, website imagery and direct mail creative.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical expertise on website architecture, design and integration
- Excellent knowledge of hand-coded HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, jQuery, customized plugins, WordPress, Pardot, and content management systems
- Understanding of website components and integration
- Extremely comfortable and able to hand-code HTML/CSS for both modern and legacy websites.
- Experienced in UX and creating wireframes
- Prior experience integrating multiple, disparate websites is a huge plus!
- Experienced in Web analytics tools
- Strong conceptual skills; high-level sense of design, layout
- Graphics design experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash
- Ability to work collaboratively across organization and stakeholders to drive results
- Comfortable and flexible to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and diverse environment where responsibilities and requirements rapidly change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years experience working in web development
- web strategist, web content manager, web editor, or related title
- Strong project and time management skills required
