As a result of their ongoing expansion we are seeking a proven, hands-on sales management leader with a strong enterprise software background with some experience selling offerings in one of the areas of data base, big data, data integration, data warehouse, big data management, business intelligence, etc. for this great opportunity:

Position title: Regional Vice President of Sales
Location: California
Position description: For this role we are seeking a strong, experienced sales leader responsible for managing a regional sales team. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will have the ability to have a direct impact on the company's continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking a high visibility role in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment. The Regional Vice President of Sales will build and manage a regional sales team in the Western US area as part of the company's expansion plan. The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for increasing the company's penetration in multiple verticals, and will leverage their experience to drive sales opportunities and by engaging with strategic customers directly and help individual sales representatives close deals.

Desired/required skills:
�5+ years of enterprise software sales management experience with experience and understanding of data integration, application integration, big data management, data warehouse, and/or business intelligence offerings.
�Successful track record of developing, managing, and motivating sales teams
�Strong communication and writing skills
�Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
�Ability to forecast sales revenue.
�Educational and work experience should include a BS/BA degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, or related discipline. An MBA is highly desirable.
�Ability to travel as needed Candidates that may qualify and be of interest are those with experience from some type of data-centric company as noted above that may come from those such as Informatica, SAS, Talend, Oracle/GoldenGate, IBM, Information Builders, Kapow Software, TIBCO Software, Scribe Software, or any others in these areas.
