Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is a managed consulting services firm targeting client organizations that are responsible for Marketing, Events and Communications.
We are seeking an Events Sponsorship Manager for a project-based assignment supporting one of our technology accounts. The Events Sponsorship Manager will act as the key contact for pre-event, post-sales, onsite questions and issues for all platinum high-level executive sponsors. This role will actively support the Sales, Marketing and Sponsorship Managers in integrating new partner organizations, as required, into the Sales and Marketing department. Please note: This position requires international and domestic travel at the end of October and beginning of November. Specific responsibilities: Serve as single point of contact for sponsorship inquires on a global basis, addressing questions and concerns Send scheduled exhibit update email newsletter Coordinate deliverables and manage sponsorship, exhibit and MPO packages Collect deliverables and manage sponsors to establish deadlines Conduct support calls to allow live discussions about participation Manage daily interactions of the sponsor alias in regards to financial and activity inquiries
Manage onsite fulfillment activities with sponsor
Create and manage post-event thank you email blasts
Support the resign program and the key client stakeholders in all sponsor related programs and logistics
Support additional events programs, such as measurements and metrics, etc.
Effectively manage the delivery of the sponsor's contract
Organize and administer all sponsorship delivery activities
Lead on delivering all commercial rights in relation to the sponsor's contract at events
Responsible for assisting with financial management, budgeting, invoicing, etc.
Deliver excellent client service to client's group elite/primary partners Identify and deliver partner commercial programs Identification of branding and advertising opportunities
Manage full delivery of commercial programs
Support Sponsorship Manager and Head of Sales/Marketing with any additional duties that may be required across the department
Skills:
5 - 8 years of knowledge and experience with various marketing functions within an enterprise organization (e.g. marketing communications, event marketing, demand generation, field marketing, executive communications)
Event Sponsorship Management experience strongly preferred
Must have excellent project management skills
Must have experience and be secure working within a corporate environment Independent with excellent customer service skills
Ability to contribute strategically as needed
Must have the desire to achieve objectives through collaborative efforts BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is required
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available LOCATION: 20% onsite in Campbell, CA, 80% remote/WFH/telecommute. International and domestic travel at the end of October and beginning of November is required. No phone calls, please; Local SF Bay Area candidates only.
HOURS/DURATION: FT, ASAP to December 31, 2014.
