We are looking for an experienced Market Strategy Manager for an opportunity at an innovative virtualization/cloud solutions provider, based in San Francisco, CA.
This is a strategic project, working with the client to plan, conduct and summarize customer validation/market research interviews. This is an ideal role for a senior product marketing or marketing professional who has prior experience conducting customer interviews across a diverse solution portfolio in the virtualization/cloud space. This is a 1 month, 30 to 40 hours per week project, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Additional projects highly likely. Must be available for meetings in San Francisco, CA. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities:
Learn client solutions to be evaluated, target markets, buyers, and competition
Lead and work with internal team to develop customer interviews/market research plan
Develop customer interview questionnaires/presentations for solution validation meetings
Arrange customer meetings and lead feedback discussions (approximately 30 to 40 interviews will be conducted)
Summarize learnings from customer interviews and recommend top solution option to pursue
Follow on projects may include messaging development, marketing collateral development, etc.
Requirements:
6+ years experience in Product Marketing/marketing in Virtualization/Cloud solutions
Experience managing customer interviews/market research for new solutions
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; can simplify complex ideas and concepts; highly effective presentation skills
Strategic thinker with strong execution Ability to work across organizational lines, influence without authority
Strong results orientation in dynamic, high growth, fast paced environments with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadline and cross-functional dependencies
BS/BA required, Masters preferred
