INVISTA is seeking a Plant HR Manager for our Victoria, TX manufacturing facility.  This is a challenging, yet exciting opportunity to direct and lead human resource activities and programs.  As a key member of the site leadership team you will develop and implement initiatives that align with our culture of Market Based Management; build and maintain effective relationships with the workforce; and foster a high performance work culture with an outstanding safety record.

 

 

As HR Manager for the Site:

Build action plans based on the Vision and Strategies of the Site to develop leaders; improve employee relations; maximize productivity; and capitalize on growth opportunities for the business.

 

Have oversight for site compensation programs and practices.

 

Drive a results focused organization through performance management and development.

 

Effectively lead and manage change throughout the facility to create a true MBM ® (Market Based Management) culture.

 

As Leader of the HR Capability at the Site:

Develop a Point of View on your talent; build organization capabilities through the development and acquisition of high caliber HR employees and candidates.

 

Review existing processes and focus on improvement of tools, process controls, etc. while maximizing efficiency.

 

The successful candidate should have:

Experience in culture change, specifically managing change within a large organization (approx.. 650 employees at the Site).

 

Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence decision-making processes.

 

Strong communication and facilitation skills.

 

Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into action plans.

 

Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects.

 

Ability to deal with employees at all levels and maintain good employee relations.

 

Ability to optimize workforce strategies including experience designing and executing staffing plans and recruiting strategies.

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5+ years Human Resource experience, with 2+ years in an HR leadership role.

 

Experience leading and managing the HR functions in a manufacturing environment.

 

Experience in recruiting and employee relations.

 

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

 

5+ years organizational leadership experience.

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
