Primarily responsible to support the Senior VP, North America Sales at Wind River. Secondary responsibility is to support VP of Sales — SIMICS.
As an Assistant to the Senior VP North American Sales based at the Wind River office in Newport Beach, California, you will:
� Perform all the administrative functions required for this role
� Utilize excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
� Act as liaison between VPs, other company executives, managers and customers
� Coordinate and maintain executive calendar, schedule all pertinent activities with thoroughness, forethought and logistical sensibility
� Aid in coordination of key events such as internal regional sales meetings and external customer events
� Provide VPs with assistance in preparing reports and presentations o Manage DAILY sales forecasts utilizing Salesforce.com, MS Excel, and other CRM and productivity tools o Coordinate and develop ad hoc business reports
� Provide VPs with assistance in data entry/data validation within CRM tools
� Work with Sales Finance to validate renewals
� Work with HR business partner and internal sales recruiter to facilitate hiring process and address other personnel issues as they arise
� Assist executive in quota allocation and Annual Operating Plan
� Facilitate communications to and from the Regional VPs
� Work to understand Wind River's business, products and customer markets
� Efficiently manage and coordinate simultaneous projects and activities that ebb and flow, requiring efficient time management and an extreme sense of urgency
� Engage professionally with customers in person and over the telephone
Requirements:
� College experience plus minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative capacity; 4-year degree preferred
� Prior experience working in a sales environment, providing administrative support at the leadership/executive level
� Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, solid Outlook and Word skills
� Working knowledge with CRM tools (Salesforce.com OR related apps like Siebel)
� Strong aptitude for adapting readily to web based tools such as JIVE, Webex, Clearslide
� Excellent oral and written skills and strong attention to detail
� High-energy individual with a can-do attitude
� Strong in multi-tasking; ability to prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment
� Proven skills in project management and event coordination
� Experience coordinating complicated travel arrangements
� Demonstrated self-starter who can work with minimal direction
� Independent worker and good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
� Proficiency working with numbers
