JOB DESCRIPTION:

·       Payroll Compliance and either Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC ) an/or the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).

·       Responsible for ensuring that employees outside of the United States accurately receive their paychecks on the established pay dates.

·       Works with Legal and Corporate Tax departments to ensure that payroll is administered in compliance with each country's payroll regulations.

·       Responds to complex international employees- payroll questions that get escalated by the Call Center due to their complexity (level 2 calls)

·       Evaluates potential international payroll vendors, helps select the best vendor, agrees on contract terms, and manages the ongoing vendor relationship.

·       Has at least 2 years of experience working with international payroll systems and processes.

·       Possess experience managing small and large scale projects from setting the strategy to implementation.

·       Has experience in evaluating potential vendors, selecting the best vendor for the specific job,

·       coming to an agreement on contract terms and managing the vendor relationship.

·       Direct and monitor the activities of external vendors.

·       Define requirements, activities and timelines to complete projects.

·       Establish time and quality standards for outside service providers.

·       Conduct customer needs analysis

·       Identify reengineering and streamlining opportunities.

·       Evaluate feasibility, costs and benefits and makes recommendations accordingly.

·       Plan and direct implementation of related initiatives.

·       Periodic travel may be required.

·       4-year degree or equivalent experience required.

·       Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring all international paychecks are in compliance with regulatory requirements and that accurate payments are issued to employees on the set payroll cycle.

·       This job does not manage staff.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Strong relationship-building and customer service skills with both internal and external customers

·       General knowledge of payroll regulations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland.
