Purpose

 

This role is responsible for the overall reward strategy in a GEO and its implementation, in line with SITA global compensation and benefits policies, business strategy and market best practice.

 

The GEO Reward lead engages with key stakeholder to develop a clear understanding of the HR and business strategy, priorities and requirements, aligning Reward plans and policies to attract and retain the required talents within available budget.

 

This role is also responsible for leading SITA’s global incentive practice, including SITA’s short term, long term and any other variable compensation and incentive programs including legacy plans.

 

As any other members of the team the incumbent in this role will be called upon to contribute to and/or lead  other corporate programs and initiatives as required.

 

This role will require passion, drive and the ability to be a self starter; with a mixture of strategy, analytics, business partnering  and projects leadership skills combined with operational activities   

         

GEO Reward strategy

-Lead the formulation, design and execution of reward, recognition and benefits strategies and policies within a GEO across a diverse range of countries

-Ensure the best possible positioning of SITA in key markets and strict compliance with applicable laws.

-Articulate total reward strategy and positioning, including pay mix, benefits and recognition components for top markets in GEO

-Promote and contribute to the visibility and understanding of Reward strategies within the HR and business communities

-Carry out annual reward related equality audits ensuring fairness and consistency in the operation of reward recognition and benefits strategies and related policy, procedures and systems

 

GEO Compensation

-Develop GEO and local Remuneration policy, including definition of appropriate market positioning of SITA's pay and total reward programs

-Contribute to and implement global Reward programs such as grade structure Salary Review, short and long term incentive plans

-Provide input to the budget planning process on HR cost assumptions for the GEO

-Develop of GEO market information, through participation in salary and benefit surveys, supplier relationships and networking to maintain SITA's competitiveness in GEO markets.

-In collaboration with country HR manager, prepare for and participate in pay negotiations with employee representatives where required and ensure all plans strict compliance with local legislation

 

GEO Benefits

-In collaboration with the Benefits CoE, propose and implement GEO market aligned benefit plans that provide attractive competitive plans that are cost effective, for the organization and for the employee, and include appropriate approaches to employee cost sharing.

-Develop a benefits provider strategy in collaboration with the HR GEO and global Reward teams, optimizing pooling opportunities and cost for services

-Optimize spend on benefits and overall reward policies ensuring  best employee engagement for the spend

-Manage SITA  cost of benefits and report for internal financial planning ( social charges)

 

Global Incentive Plans

-Define SITA’s incentive plan strategy in partnership with HR and Business Leadership Team

-Lead SITA’s incentive  practice incentive structure and approaches to provide seamless delivery of appropriate solutions for the business

-Develop, implement and manage incentive programs that align with the organization’s strategic plan and which drive incremental engagement, growth and retention

-Evolve plans in alignment with our pay-for-performance philosophy and the business objectives of the company

-Responsibilities include but are not limited to annual incentive plan, long term incentive plans, 

-Analyze and evaluate incentive programs for the organization, recommending and implementing new and improved programs that are cost-effective and provide competitive positioning. Serve as the internal consulting lead and subject matter expert on incentive plan topics.

-Manage relevant field inquiries in a timely manner. Oversee the design, development, communication, and maintenance of all processes and policies relating to incentive plans to ensure effective utilization and regulatory compliance.

 

GEO Partnership

-         Deliver policies that support business strategies in GEO including BRIC strategy, as required.

-         Provide consultancy advice on all aspects of remuneration within the GEO.

-         Monitor GEO salary and benefits administration to ensure compliance with corporate policies and local legislation.

-         Facilitate, verify and validate the implementation of corporate performance management  systems (e.g. SIRP and Sales Incentive Plans).

-         Provide analytical reporting of remuneration data to ensure effective management planning and decision making within the region.

 

 

Education & Communication

-Coach HR team members and managers as required on Reward matters

-Lead Reward forums with employee and managers group to present and discuss Rewards Strategy and programs

Other areas of responsibility will include job evaluation, benchmarking, implementation of SITA's International Assignment Policy and consulting services in acquisition/ merger situations

 

Education & Qualifications

 

- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources; Master's Degree a plus.

- Professional certification in international/global compensation and benefits preferred but not mandatory.

- Membership of appropriate professional body.

            

Experience

- 8-12 years of HR Management experience with a minimum of 6 years in a senior Reward role.

         

Knowledge & Skills

- HR Management experience in all aspects of the function, especially Reward practices including; market analysis, Short and Long Term Incentive Plans, executive compensation, pensions, grading, international mobility.

- Demonstrated ability to use innovative practices to facilitate change, organizational effectiveness and transformation.

- Exceptional communications and cross cultural interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong leadership skills.

- Strong Business / Financial Acumen

- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
