a. Required Skills
1) Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff
2) Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining database driven web-based applications
3) Demonstrated experience with developing database driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio.Net environment with C#, VB6, VB.NET, ASP, Oracle 10g
4) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server through 2008 and Oracle 10g
5) Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques
6) Demonstrated experience 3-tier logical/physical architected applications
7) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
b. Preferred Skills
1) Familiarity with the Department’s e-Commerce Broker financial system
2) Familiarity with DFS security and information technology related procedures
3) Demonstrated experience with Crystal Reports Server and Windows Script File (WSF)
4) Experience with Control-M, IBM FileNet P8 platform, and Windows Task Scheduler
5) Experience working with the Department’s licensing systems (AALF, ALIS, DICE, FCDICE, FACS-DICE, ANDI, eAppoint, NFTI Systems)
6) Previous experience developing applications for the Department of Financial Services’, Division of Information Systems.
