Public Relations Director
San Francisco Bay Area
The PR Director is a new position in our clients rapidly expanding marketing team. He/she will lead and oversee the clients global corporate public relations and marketing communications department. The company is looking for someone with a software background. The Director will oversee anything designed, written, published or distributed inside or outside the company in any form, including web content, product collateral, brochures, videos, animations, posters, & PowerPoint templates. Generating writen brochures and public relations copy will be a major emphasis of this position.
Responsibilities will include:
Direct responsibility for all creative services and web properties
Public Relations
- Manage the development and continual improvement of the corporate web site and associated sub-sites. Our client is currently embarking on the design and development of its new site and this position will take over management of that project.
- Events
- Compliance with brand guidelines
- Timely publications
- Develop business processes and standards including web publishing updates
- Drive Social Media Marketing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years prior corporate public relations and communications experience
- Past experience at a successful high growth software technology firm
- Great team player
- Strong presenter of ideas
- Great communication skills
This position will work closely with the executive team and peers, in particular the leaders of demand generation and product marketing.
Local candidates only (SF Bay Area)
No relocation.
