Director, Product Management – Financial Enterprise Software
Location: Open or Atlanta, GA
Our client is a leader in the financial services technology and innovation, with solutions for mobile and online banking, payments, risk management, data analytics and core account processing. They're looking for a Director of Product Management to drive the overall vision, growth, and innovation of all products and services within the SaaS enterprise product, including financial accounting and risk-based performance management. The product is designed to meet the needs of CFOs at financial services institutions and commercial customers with a need to manage financial risk – including treasury services, controller services, and financial modeling.
This PLM role reports into the GM and includes full P&L financial management and controls associated with achieving/exceeding assigned revenue and profit targets at the individual product and overall product line levels.
- You will directly manage a team of Product Managers and Business Experts along with teams responsible for Analytics, Marketing, Sales Support, and Business Development.
- You will own matrix-based and dotted-line reporting relationships for teams responsible for Software Development, Technology, Professional Services, and Sales.
- You will play a key role on the Risk Compliance leadership team – setting a vision for your product line, leading a diverse team of talented product management professionals through the achievement of that vision, and advocating the vision to prospects, customers, and the industry as a whole.
Your background and experience should include:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, Banking, or related field required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible Product Management leadership positions or roles of similar organizational responsibility
- P&L Accountability for a multi-product portfolio encompassing at least $50MM in annual revenue.
- Detailed knowledge and experience working with a variety of financial accounting solutions including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, investment accounting and/or procurement highly desired.
- Prior experience working in a bank or financial institution leading the finance or financial risk management areas including budgeting, planning, forecasting, profitability analysis and funds transfer pricing areas highly desired.
- Experience with Prologue™ Financial Accounting and Vantage Risk and Budgeting software a strong plus.
- Experience with driving industry thought leadership through authorship, conference speaking, customer or user group facilitation, etc.
